I found these dresses at Value Village for 30% off with my donator’s card. They will all need to be shortened as they are too long, but will be perfect once I have fired up the sewing machine and hemmed them to the right length.
This first navy and white patterned dress was homemade by someone, it still has pins in it from their sewing project. I am going to hem it and shorten the sleeves and it will be just right. It was only $11.99.
This coral and white patterned dress was also homemade and I have already removed the trim around the neck and the enormous shoulder pads. It was only $5.60 with my discount.
This dress is a beautiful turquoise which I have been told is a good colour for me. I don’t like the detail at the hem, which is okay because it is too long for me, and that will just be chopped off and a new hem inserted. For only $7.77, it was a steal and I just have to take it in a bit to make it fit just right.
I hope you like these refashion-able finds. Cheers, Michele
