When we visited Dublin for a long weekend years ago, it was a whirlwind of activities. We walked all over the city from one side of the Liffey river, which divides the city in two, to the other. We visited the Wicklow mountains and saw the beautiful country side. We enjoyed some great food and drank some great beer. We loved it and I will try to show you why.
The Dim Sum (best we ever ate in Europe)
The Pubs and all the interesting characters you meet while enjoying a pint of the finest!
The beautiful Georgian homes with their gorgeous brightly painted doors. I have a fondness for doors.
The Jamieson Factory and becoming a whiskey taster.
The Guinness Factory and all the Guinness we drank.
St. Patrick’s Church and it’s amazing floor.
The Tea Shops (this is a family joke)
The Dublin Museum (God I love Bog mummies)
St. Michan’s Church and it’s mummies.
The Wicklow Mountains and all the Jamieson’s whiskey we drank on our trip.
The weirdos you meet when shopping and walking around the city. Dublin is an amazingly beautiful city that should not be missed. Cheers, Michele
