To Top It All Off!! A Thrift Haul of Tops!

Posted on

This thrift haul is a little odd in that all I found were tops, but they are some great ones, so I don’t mind, especially with a 30% off coupon clutched in my hand, it was even better.  So here is what I found at Value Village.

This first top is for work as I work in a Pathology lab and have to wear scrubs to work.  It was only  $3.50 after discount.

This pretty orange coral top is perfect for summer, it is Banana Republic so it was a bit more expensive at $9.99 after discount.

This beautiful aubergine coloured top can be worn two ways, with the bow in the bag or the front.  It is also Banana Republic and was also $9.99 on sale.

This red and white striped light sweater was only $5.60 after discount.

This black and cream patterned top was only $3.50 after discount.

So as you can see, this was a weird haul in that I only found tops, but I can always use them in spring and summer with pants, shorts, capris or a skirt.  Hope you like my finds.  Cheers, Michele

Thanks, I just get lucky sometimes. And it seems like people donate a bunch of stuff that just fits my style and taste and size all at the same time. I have been thrifting a lot lately and haven’t always had such luck. Happy hunting!

Seriously. Decent thrift shops and discount coupons, that just doesn’t exist here. Great haul.

They have punch cards periodically that you get one punch for every $5 you spend. It takes 75$ to fill a card, and then you have a 30% off coupon. About every 3 months they have two days that are 50% everything in the store. I also have a membership card which is free so I get 30% off on my birthday and have other special days through out the year that are discounted for members. That is the best birthday present to go thrifting in my opinion. Do you live in a big city? We have at least 6 Value Villages, 5 Salvation Army Thrift Stores, 2 St. Vincent de Paul thrift stores and lots of other small church run or vintage boutiques. There is lots to choose from. Happy thrifting. Cheers, Michele
