It may not seem relevant to this post, but I had to go to the dentist today to get moulds made of my teeth for a night guard. I know, how glamourous!! But because I am not fond of going to the Dentist in any way except that she is a very nice person, I figured a little self-bribery might help. Oh, heck, I will just admit it, I have the day off and have been thinking all week about going to the thrift store….so I did. Anyways, back to the point of this post, I have a small thrift haul, but tI got very lucky today and I had a 30% off coupon so my haul was an even bigger deal. I will list the prices after the 30% off as I still have my receipt from Value Village.
This first dress is homemade by someone with excellent tailoring skills, certainly much better than mine. It is made of a beautiful stretchy, charcoal grey denim material. It has a bubble skirt, cool pockets in the front, and is just a perfect dress at only $10.49.
This next dress is from Old Navy and is a nice stretchy knit. I love the little sailboat print and the colours, $3.49. I know, crazy price, but that is what it was originally marked at $5.49.
This multi-coloured blouse is from Calvin Klein and is a lovely satiny fabric with a beautiful print. I can wear it with lots of things in most seasons. A great find at $6.99.
This black and white blouse is from Cleo, at only $5.59.
This top is from Banana Republic, I can wear it backwards or the regular way as it has cute buttons down the back, $8.39.
This cream cable knit turtle-neck sweater is a great winter piece, $3.84.
This colourful pink, orange and white dress is perfect for summer at only $5.59.
As you can see, the prices are kind of crazy, a Banana Republic short sleeve top was one of my most expensive finds, and an Old Navy dress was the cheapest. But I am very happy with my finds and they will be washed up and ready to wear waiting on the appropriate season to come along.
